About the Event
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Be You. An art camp for adopted children.
Adoption Support Alliance's “BE YOU: An Art Camp for Adopted Children” is for rising elementary school students for the 2025-2026 school year (grades K - 5th) who joined their family through adoption (any kind of adoption!).
For much of the day's activities, children will be split up in age groups with rising K-2nd together and rising 3-5th together. BE YOU activities will incorporate creativity and expression daily through art activities, therapeutic games, adoption education and connection with one another. Through our time together, we will normalize adoption as a way to form a family, learn more about adoption topics and empower children, at an appropriate developmental level, to embrace their unique and wonderful identities as adoptees.
We need camp counselors to help us make this camp happen and would love for you to join…
