About the Event
Congregations for Kids is partnering with Adoption Support Alliance to host Hope for the Journey, a virtual conference for parents and caregivers of children impacted by adoption and foster care.
This faith-based conference focuses on Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), a care model aimed at meeting the relational and developmental needs of youth who have experienced trauma.
The conference includes research-based tools to promote attachment and connection in families such as Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) methods developed by Drs. Karyn Purvis and David Cross at the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development at TCU. TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention) is a care model designed to help meet relational and developmental needs of children and youth impacted by trauma. TBRI considers the whole child—his or her brain, biology, behavior, body, and beliefs—and provides parents and caregivers with practical tools and insight to help their child(ren) reach his or her high potential. Tickets
In-person Ticket (per family)
This ticket is for in-person attendance to the training on April 26th. Breakfast and Lunch are included. A certificate will be provided to all in-person attendees. One ticket is sufficient for two co-parenting partners.
$Virtual Ticket (per family)
This ticket provides access to the virtual, on-demand conference, Hope For The Journey, for asynchronous instruction and does not include in-person facilitation led by ASA and CFK. Certificates of attendance will be accessed through the conference, if virtual learning is accepted by your agency.
